I wrote this on Facebook this morning, copied it so I could paste it here, then deleted it.

God gave me this site so I could write these types of things. I had a long Memorial Day weekend of prayer, reflection, and renewal. So, I am doing what I’ve been given to do, and I apologize for too many missed blog posts.

I was disciplined in a prayer session this Saturday morning. Though uncomfortable at times, I rejoice in the proof of God’s love. And so I share what my mind and heart are chewing on…
Because we all speak of our faith in different ways, we all need to make sure the words we use are confirmed by God’s Holy Word. We also need to be sure we don’t judge others negatively when they speak differently, if the Truth is solid in the lives they live. Different levels of spiritual maturity are sometimes revealed and are not confirmation of a lack of faith.
Maybe God is showing us we have a role to play in their learning process.
Unfortunately, there are many catch phrases Christians can use without really knowing what they mean or how negatively impactful they can be.
God’s plan is to use all of us as disciples to share the gospel. To understand the good news effectively, we need to continually seek the help of the Holy Spirit so we can know Him, know His Word, and share the Good News.
We have gifts that have been given to us. We can’t ignore what we’ve been given if we want to honor God.

And so I share this journey of refreshment with you.

God bless you! – Vicki
