There is so much that can be shared about Holy Monday. But I’m going to make some changes in my approach to the Holy Week. I’m going to return to sharing my thoughts and not try to teach things probably better taught by those more educated in the periods of Jesus’ life.
I’ve been sharing things on Facebook, and I think I’ll more and more avoid Facebook and speak directly through this faith blog, which God moved me to begin so many years ago.
What I can do is share a link to a site that does a good job of sharing Christian insights to different times and teachings. I used it and a ocouple other sites in researching Holy Monday and bottom line, they do a much better job than I can offer, so I’ll stick to what I do, sharing how faith impacts my life.
The site you might find hellpful is https://www.biblestudytools.com/
The post today is something I put on Facebook early today after devotions and prayer. Although it is personal, I hope something in it can resonate with your life in some way.

Sometimes you take a step believing you’re being obedient to God. Then suddenly the heart changes as you hear that precious whisper, “child, go this way, as this is My Will.”
My step was not bad. But it was surface, repetitive, so like what others were doing. Cultural influence?
It didn’t fit what he’d created me to do, to be, in this time of my life.
If I’d continued it would have been okay. But I would have lost a chance to move in His Presence to reach others in a different way than I’d chosen to go.
The prize is not in what I do, or dont do, but in knowing in a deeper way the Father’s Love for me, His child, as I yearn to return to childlike faith.
Always remember how deeply God loves you! –Vicki
