Making it simple, this is what I posted on my Facebook page this morning.

On the final push to complete A Place of Peace. I’m working on Chapter 28 with probably two, maybe three more chapters to go. Unless there are issues, I’m looking at the first draft being done in about three days. I spent quite a bit of time editing and rewriting this last week to be more comfortable with both the story and the flow, so the second draft should go fairly quickly. Unless I delete a lot in the second draft, I’m looking at about 75,000 words, and if there are no major setbacks, it looks like a mid-August publication will happen.

I’ll keep you updated.

When that is done, I’ll take a short writing break and then continue prep work on the next Marston Mystery, It Started At the Dumpster.

Enjoy your weekend, my friends!

Quote of the week

Ephesians 5:1-2 (World English Bible)

Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children. Walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.
