I’m sure I’ve shared the story behind why this is what I consider my Life Scripture. Just a reminder – the church I attended years ago had Sunday evening prayer for a year with the focus on praying specific prayers for people, and with verses we’d all picked, written out, and put in a basket. Each week we would have general prayer led by the pastor, then we would each pull out a scripture, read it aloud, and then pray the truth in that scripture over whomever we were praying for.

Almost every week I pulled out Jeremiah 29, not even the scripture I’d put in the basket. Through the year, not only did it have meaning in the lives of those I prayed for, but also in a trememdous way for me. I have the words framed and hanging next to my desk. The truth in it is a great support in anything I am facing.

I found this YouTube channel, Grace Oasis, a few weeks ago and I try each morning to take advantage of the videos they offer.

This morning I woke up wondering about the directions my life would be taking. I turned on the site, and the scripture today was Jeremiah 29. God at work again.

Warning, the video I’m sharing is a combination of teaching and prayer, so it isn’t short. But, it’s not really long, either. And since the computers are still fighting me, and I’m having difficulty struggling on writing anything, I’ll share the video with you today, instead of writing my own words. God’s Word is always better.
