My subscription to this website ends tomorrow. It’s a hundred bucks I can’t afford right now, especially after having to have my washing machine repaired. But God is faithful and provides, so I will continue to praise Him and write as an act of worship.

After tomorrow, this site’s address will be faithbychoicetoday.wordpress.com instead of whitve.org. I still have the whitve.org domain; however, without a site to connect it to, it is not usable.

For years, I used the WordPress.com address without a domain, and I will again. The difference is that no emails are sent out, and advertisements that I have not chosen will be on the site.

After the first of the year, I may pick up the minimum site option to retain my domain. It still will cost me, but not as much. Time will tell. If I can do that, I can offer email subscriptions again. Poor timing is the issue more than anything. Again.

The site will return to a primary faith site. Not going to spend as much time promoting the Christian novels I have and will write. That retirement hobby has slowed down. The two novels a year don’t seem to be as doable these days. An occasional announcement of publication at times is probable.

So, all that out of the way, I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas and were able to bask in the joy of celebrating our Savior’s birth. We each celebrate in our own ways, and I’m sure the Lord smiles when He sees and hears your praises in whatever form you’ve chosen.

And, as you all know, I’m a music lover, and so to finish this last post of 2025, I’ll share a video of a performance that has blessed me for years.

God bless you,

all my love – Vicki

Quote of the week

Ephesians 5:1-2 (World English Bible)

Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children. Walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.
