Dumpster Dilemma First Words were posted back in July, while I was also working on another novel. That has been completed, a break taken, and now I’m back to working on the new book.
Today I’m getting ready to start chapter two of the new Marston Mystery, with the future of Maddison and Alex from Keeping the Peace continuing.
This book won’t be thirty-some chapters like my last novel. I think I’m done with the procedural-type suspense novels. The small-town mysteries are a simpler kind of fun and less stressful for me to write. It is my retirement hobby, and I need to enjoy it and not consider it hard work. Plus, smaller books are easier to keep at a lower price for readers.
There will be occasional updates on how things are working.
Now, I’m headed back to Marston, MO, to see what the gang is up to.
