I’m going to share something I did this morning on Facebook. From this point on, things like this will return only to my faith blog.
I am also considering making some changes, returning to the stronger focus being on the faith blog. I don’t want to lose the opportunity to share what writing has and will happen, but the Lord has shown me the priorities I need to stick with. So, you may find changes to this site. It will stay intact with both the domains of whitve.org, and vewhitlock.com until the end of 2025. After that, I can’t be sure what will happen.
Here are the words the Lord led me to write this morning:
When I wonder why things get worse instead of better, God reminds me that if my sincere prayerful and praising response can touch one hurting soul, drawing them to Him, His Will has been accomplished.
And that, dear friends, is worth more than any answer I think I want, or need.
So I thank Him for that reminder and seek earnestly to find joy even in what are the uncomfortable assignments for His Glory.
Too many times, I’ve missed the truth of the power in prayer and praise to touch others. Let it no longer be so, Lord.

Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer’s; he makes me tread on my high places. -Habakkuk 3:17-19
Blessings, my friends. – Vicki
