And along with it comes change. In our personal lives. In our country. In our opportunities. In life itself.
Not an abnormal thing. Life has always been about change, and as believers in Christ, we adapt, take opportunities given us to share the gospel, be kind, be generous, and live in a way pleasing to our God.
I’m making some changes. Most of them will be short term as I’m ending a long writing session that, in an old phrase, wore me slick. So I’m taking a break from novels, and following God’s direction to focus more on this site, which I have missed doing. I realize I put too much of the focus on the latest novel instead of balancing life. Add to that, some more issues with the legs, and right now I am ready to just enjoy my life of retirement and study the Word and do my writing by posting on this blog.
I got a great discount on the website, so my Christmas present to myself was to upgrade the site. Only to discover that in order to have the abilities I used to have on this premium site, I now have to upgrade even more. Wasted money? No, there are still some positives. I’ve made some changes to the site, and I’ve added a free domain to be used here or to set up a new site…yet to be decided, so not sharing it yet.
If I were looking to sell more books, I could upgrade to the level where I can set up a store and sell my books at a discounted rate but still make some money.
If that is eventually God’s will, it can happen. Now though, the writing life is on hold and I’m just being the lady that loves God’s Word, and enjoys sharing here how it has spoken to me.
Have a blessed New Year celebration however you celebrate.
